Will Drafting & Review

A will is the clearest way to communicate your wishes regarding the distribution of your estate, the care of your dependants, and the appointment of the people you trust to carry out your instructions. We prepare wills that are legally sound and personally meaningful.

Our process covers both Muslim estates (subject to Faraid principles with a wasiat component) and non-Muslim estates under the Wills Act 1959. We also advise on which assets can and cannot be dealt with by will under Malaysian law.

What is included:

  • Comprehensive family and asset consultation
  • Draft will preparation with client review
  • Guidance on executor and guardian appointments
  • Execution process supervision
  • Advice on safe storage and future updates

Probate & Letters of Administration

When a loved one passes, the legal process of administering their estate requires court authorisation before assets can be transferred. We handle the entire process with care — from assessing which pathway applies, to filing all necessary documents, and communicating with the relevant authorities on your behalf.

We manage both Grant of Probate applications (where a valid will exists) and Letters of Administration (for intestate estates). For smaller estates that qualify, we also assist with Amanah Raya Berhad applications, which may offer a more accessible route.

What is included:

  • Assessment of applicable probate pathway
  • Preparation of petition and supporting affidavits
  • Asset inventory and valuation coordination
  • High Court filing and attendance
  • ARB coordination for qualifying small estates

Trust Establishment & Advisory

A trust allows you to provide for your family over time rather than transferring assets all at once. This is particularly meaningful where beneficiaries are minors, where assets are significant, or where you wish to structure support across multiple generations.

We advise on both inter vivos trusts (established during your lifetime) and testamentary trusts (created through your will). Each structure is drafted to reflect your intentions precisely, with appropriate trustee appointments and compliance obligations.

What is included:

  • Consultation on trust type and structure
  • Trust deed drafting and review
  • Trustee selection guidance
  • Asset transfer and registration advisory
  • Ongoing compliance support
